The Archaeological Museum in Skopje and the National Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments did partial investigations and conservation in the period between 1955 and 1969. They excavated the North Basilica, the Civil Basilica, the House of Psalms and the Palace of Peristeria. Conservation was done to the Large and the Small Bath, the House of Psalms, the Central Basilica and Synagogue, the City Fountain and the Theatre.
