On the 22nd of September (Saturday), National Institution Stobi with the support of World Monuments Fund is organizing an educative event regarding the World Monuments Watch Day 2012. The program named “Visit Stobi – Be Inspired” involves students from the local elementary and middle schools “Goce Delchev” – Gradsko, “Pere Toshev” – Rosoman and the international school “Nova” – Skopje.
The event includes tour around the archaeological site and two workshops: watercolor painting inspired by the site and mosaic reproduction of original floor decoration details. Similar events will be organized across the globe, at the sites which are on the World Monuments Watch List 2012. The goal of the event is to draw the global attention to the world monuments and highlight their significance for the humanity.
The NI Stobi invites you to visit the archaeological site on Saturday between 10.00h and 14.00h. Free admission for all visitors during the day.
