The NI Stobi model for site management presented at a conference in Montenegro

On the 9th of December 2013, Zlatko Kovancaliev and Dimitar Nikolovski, archaeologists from NI Stobi, participated in a conference that took place at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica. They presented the archaeological site Stobi, focusing on its maintenance and management in the period between 2009 and 2013. The one-day conference was dedicated to the archaeological site Duklja (Doclea), near Podgorica. The goal of the conference was to attract wider, international attention regarding the potential of the site and at the same time to present new methods of pomotion and valorization of Duklja. The conference was organized by the Historical Institute of Montenegro and the Museum and Gallery of Podgorica. The participants came from Serbia, Croatia, Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro.
