Conservation of the House with a triclinium

January, 03 2012 | Ioannes Stobaeus

25th of December marked the end of the first stage of the project for conservation of the House with a triclinium, the largest building in the 6th century housing complex. The first stage took almost two months and during this period all of the walls were conserved. The conservation of the floors is the second stage of the project and it will be realized next year. The house existed for a long period and was repaired many times. The last phase during the second half of the 6th century is the best preserved and it will be presented after the conservation project is finished.  Coordinators of this NI Stobi project are Nikola Shentevski (architect) and Trajche Nacev (archaeologist).
