The exhibition “Archaeology 2010” was officially opened at 25th of December in the Museum of Macedonia. More than 2 000 artifacts, from 20 archaeological sites excavated in 2010, are presented to the public.
Especially attractive are the marble sculptures from Stobi, discovered in the sectors Temple and Public Building with Arches. The marble vessel, found in the Temple, represents a unique find, which is discovered for the first time in R. Macedonia.
The exhibition will be opened until April 2011 and it is a great opportunity for the visitors to be introduced to the material culture and everyday life of the people who inhabited the territory of R. Macedonia from the Prehistory to the Ottoman rule.
