Admission and ticketing systems designed for archaeological sites are consisted of computer hardware, purpose-built software and electronic “doors”. The computer hardware with the ticketing software allows printing different types of tickets for visiting the site right at the poing of sale. The electronic door then reads the barcode inhered in the ticket. The system is a solution for economizing the printing of tickets, following and controlling the number of visitors that enter the site, as well as keeping statistical records about the visitors on a year level or in general.
