The project “Preliminary Investigation in the Episcopal Basilica and the Baptistery at the Archaeological Site of Stobi”, financed through the Ljubljana process II – Rehabilitating our Common Heritage, was realized between August and November. The project included laboratory analysis of the chemical structure and the physical properties of the mortar from the walls, a geo radar scanning of the area south of the basilica in order to define the whole complex and a laser scan documentation of the southern wall of the nave which is 35 metres long and 4.5 metres high. The total amount of the grant was 5000 EUR.
