After the preparations and the cleaning of the area wеre finished, the excavations were commenced in one of the buildings close to the Porta Heraclea. The program of the school organized in two sessions of 15 days in which the participants are directly included in the excavations and preparation of field documentation. Besides the fieldwork and the lectures, the field school includes visits of Ohrid, Bitola and Shtip as an introduction to the rich cultural heritage of these regions. Depending on the attended sessions, all of the participants acquire certificates and a number of university credits. The international field school will end at the 31st of August.
